    Antique 1880's Era? Women's Long Satin Skirt (Hoop?) From Museum Sale-Restore. Condition is "Pre-owned". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Obtained from Museum sale of period clothing and theatre costumes. Took over my wife's account a few years ago and know very little about antique clothes. Thought they were cool though. Waist 23". Length 43". Bottom of skirt east to west 57". So very wide at bottom Handmade. Lined. 1 pocket. Fabric light green with a little darker green flower stalks with pale pink flowers. Purple velvet around the bottom. Problem that needs some restoration is there are about a dozen holes worn in fabric ranging from about 1/4" to 2" pictured . Of course needs cleaning and a little stain removing. Probably need to know what you are doing. Well lot's of info. Did the best I could. Not sure of exact age and if is in fact a hoop skirt. So look at pics some of you will know. Thanks
